Abu Dhabi announces weekend road closures in capital Al Ain

Abu Dhabi: Some roads will be closed over the weekend, the transport regulator in the emirate of Abu Dhabi announced on Friday (March 10).

The Integrated Transport Center (ITC) of the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport shared details of the closure on its social media platforms, urging motorists to drive carefully when detours.

In Abu Dhabi City, the two right-hand lanes on Mohammed Bin Khalifa Street – between Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street and Khalifa Al Mubarak Street – will be closed from 11.30pm on Saturday, March 11 until March 13 Closes at 5am on Mondays.

The ramp at the intersection of Wahat Al Karama Street and Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street will also be partially closed from midnight on Saturday 11 March until 5 am on Monday 13 March.

From midnight on Saturday 22 March until 5am on Monday 13 March, the ramp on the Al Reef Bridge from the Al Falah area to Dubai will be closed to traffic.

Mohamed Bin Khalifa Street in Al Ain is also closed from 10 March until Thursday 20 April. Meanwhile, traffic was diverted to the opposite side.

Additionally, a section of road at the intersection of Shakhbout Bin Sultan Street and Saeed Bin Tahnoun the First Street will also be closed from Sunday, March 12 to Thursday, April 6.
