Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has been appointed as the Official Airline Sponsor of the 2022 Abu Dhabi Air Expo, which is expected to be attended by 18,000 attendees.
The Aerospace Show was held at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi from 1-3 November.
The airline will also support a key panel discussion: Greening Aviation: Sustainability of the Aviation Ecosystem.
Abu Dhabi Aviation Expo supports the development of Abu Dhabi as an aviation hub for general, business and commercial aviation. The conference will bring together insight and knowledge from local and international stakeholders to provide engaging content, stimulate new thinking and encourage aerospace development by attracting new players to the region.

Aviation Expo 2022 is a unique platform that brings together aerospace industry leaders and seasoned professionals with aviation enthusiasts, customers and students to exchange ideas and showcase the latest thinking, technology and equipment in general aviation. The 80,000-square-meter exhibition is expected to attract 20,000 visitors and more than 300 manufacturers and suppliers.
The three-day aviation expo will showcase the latest innovations in private jets, helicopters, executive charter services, airport equipment and services, avionics systems, insurance and financing.
More than 80 aircraft ranging from ultralight to heavy jets will be on display for delegates looking for a variety of aircraft and aviation related services. This year’s event will include a new format that divides the exhibition into three main areas: the hangar, the cabin and the outdoor static display. It will also offer a conference program that provides a forum for industry thought leaders to share the latest ideas on general aviation and aerospace developments. – arab trade news agency
