Abu Dhabi bans unvaccinated people from entering many public places

People who have not been vaccinated will be prohibited from entering shopping centers, restaurants, retail stores, gyms, recreational facilities and sports activities, hotels and resorts, museums and parks, as well as universities, schools and nurseries.

But they will still be allowed to enter smaller supermarkets and pharmacies.

The committee stated: “This decision is in line with the Emirates’ strategy to fight the Covid-19 pandemic,” adding that the new measures do not apply to children under 15 and people who are exempt from vaccinations-including pregnant women and people with health problems.
