Venom, a layer 1 blockchain based in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), has reached a major milestone in its mainnet launch roadmap with the official launch of its public testnet. In addition, Venom has introduced a series of internal decentralized applications as part of its ever-expanding ecosystem.

The testnet is designed to meet the needs of developers and ecosystem users, providing a platform for developers to test and debug dApps and blockchain protocols, while allowing users to experience these dApps first-hand. Additionally, the program aims to encourage innovation and community building within the ecosystem.

To get started with the testnet, developers and users can follow two simple steps: First, they can download the Venom wallet on their mobile device via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or desktop version as a Google Chrome extension. Second, users can apply for a free testnet allocation to start their journey of testing the Venom ecosystem.

Peter Knez, Chair of the Venom Foundation Committee, expressed his excitement for the launch, saying: “We are delighted to announce the launch of Venom’s public testnet, which is a key step towards our upcoming mainnet launch. With our highly A scalable and reliable asynchronous blockchain, we believe developers can build innovative dApps and users can experience them first-hand.”

Developers can take advantage of the asynchronous Venom blockchain, which boasts ultra-fast 100k TPS and dynamic sharding for enhanced scalability and network reliability. Additionally, to help developers get started, Venom has put together a developer documentation library that provides them with the necessary tools and knowledge.

Venom’s network also offers interoperability, making it a viable tool for developers, while its low transaction fees make it easy to adopt globally. Several dApps will debut on the Venom Testnet, including Venom WalletWery.

ADGM empowers the Venom Foundation with the aim of accelerating Web3 projects worldwide. Additionally, the decentralized network operates under the jurisdiction of ADGM, which is known for being attractive to investors and financial services companies. This positioning makes Venom the world’s first compliant blockchain that empowers authorities and businesses to build, innovate and scale freely.
