The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBW), a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized an open day for the Abu Dhabi Residents Office (ADRO) to present ADRO’s operations and services, in particular Abu Dhabi’s Golden Visa scheme.
The event was attended by a large number of members of the Abu Dhabi Women Entrepreneurs Council and Abu Dhabi-based women entrepreneurs.
In addition to introducing the INTAMI Loyalty Application, the session also clarified how to apply for a Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi.
The Open House was attended by Sheikha Naser Al Nuwais and Marwa Al Mansouri, Executive Committee Members of the Abu Dhabi Women Entrepreneurs Council, along with Hareb Al Mheiri, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Resident Office.
In her speech, Sheikha Al Nuwais said that the event aims to support the vision of the Abu Dhabi Women’s Entrepreneurs Council to lead the development of the role of women in business and make them key partners in the overall development of the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
“The Council plays a key role in empowering women entrepreneurs to contribute to sustainable economic growth in the UAE. We strive to increase opportunities for women entrepreneurs to grow in the labor market and improve productivity and quality,” she added.
Members of the Executive Board noted that, in pursuit of this goal, the Council is working continuously to organize workshops, events, and training and development sessions to develop officers during the Abu Dhabi Women’s Entrepreneurs Council’s ADRO Open Days.
Women entrepreneurs’ awareness of key entities, services and opportunities that support them in achieving their business goals. “As such, this open house event is in line with our activities and initiatives that contribute to strengthening the role of women entrepreneurs in the private sector in Abu Dhabi.
“There are multiple reasons that make the Emirate of Abu Dhabi a prime destination to settle, do business, build a bright future and participate in driving the emirate’s economic growth. “Abu Dhabi is one of the best places to do business. As a link between Eastern and Western markets, the emirate offers advanced infrastructure as well as regulatory, legislative and logistical capabilities to support the export of products to new markets. The emirate also ranks first regionally and 12th globally for the ease of doing business, according to a recent report,” she concluded.
The role of the Abu Dhabi Resident Office is to attract the best international talent to the emirate through its initiatives and services aimed at improving the quality of life of residents.
The office provided members of the Abu Dhabi Women’s Entrepreneurs Council with information on its initiatives, which include the loyalty program INTAMI, long-term residency, resident guides, and other programs and events.
Hareb Al Mheiri, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Residents Office, said: “Abu Dhabi has become one of the top destinations for global talent to live, work, fulfill their aspirations and enjoy a high quality of life.”
