Abu Dhabi Chamber hosts workshop to support SMEs in growing e-commerce businesses

Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development – ​​Abu Dhabi (ADDED), the Khalifa Enterprise Development Fund and ebay hosted an event titled “Grow Your Business Globally with ebay” , to support entrepreneurs and SMEs in Abu Dhabi to develop and expand their e-commerce businesses.

The workshop aligns with the Chamber’s efforts to support the growth of the private sector, including SMEs and start-ups, by providing businesses with the necessary guidance and skills. To this end, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role in strengthening the Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s local and foreign trade exchanges and driving economic growth.

The workshop discusses basic topics including sharing the unique advantages of ebay’s growth plan, providing personal support, training, custom business plans, and various financial advantages.

His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber, said: “Abu Dhabi Chamber ensures that it provides the necessary support and guidance to promote the growth of start-ups and SMEs and introduce them to different investment opportunities, which is very important in driving development. The private sector plays a key role in the development of the private sector. Partnering with ADDED, Khalifa Fund and ebay for this workshop reflects our efforts to develop a diversified economy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by supporting the growth of the e-commerce industry, which supports our efforts in achieving sustainable economic development.”

The seminar covered topics related to ebay’s export and growth potential, ebay’s growth plans and its benefits to Abu Dhabi Chamber’s SME members.
