The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has launched an updated version of its Effortless Certificate of Origin service, aimed at improving customer experience and reducing the time it takes to obtain services. This is part of its participation in the Abu Dhabi Effortless Customer Experience Program led by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Na, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office. The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Executive Office to enhance customer experience to the highest international standards. The program involved assembling a service design team from different disciplines and sectors, followed by extensive research to identify challenges faced by customers, working with local authorities to redesign the customer journey, and engaging customers to discuss development plans. design and analysis process.
Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, said that the launch of the Effortless Certificate of Origin service is in line with the directives of the Abu Dhabi Government and our efforts to enhance the customer experience. “The service will facilitate trade activities in the emirate of Abu Dhabi by investing in digital capabilities to ensure sustainable competitiveness of the private sector,” he said.
He said that the Effortless Certificate of Origin service is the first renewal of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and aims to establish Abu Dhabi’s leading position in the ease of doing business index and the provision of digital services index. “This is in line with our strategic objective of delivering a superior digital experience to Abu Dhabi’s business community.”
Improvements to the Effortless Certificate of Origin service include reducing the number of steps required and the amount of data and files required, as well as adding functionality for selecting products for export, such as the “Most Popular Products” option. With the updated service, clients can also check the status of their requests through the TAMM system and have their applications automatically approved according to the ICC WCF International Certificate of Origin Certification Chain (CO Chain) standard, of which Abu Dhabi Chamber is a member.
