The number of events has increased over the past decade and it is recognized that there is a growing interest in celebrating the festival. Organized by Avadhoot Events, Abu Dhabi City Golf Club hosted a colorful Holi Party on 26 February with rain dancing, live DJs and food. Thousands of people were on hand to dress up and celebrate the festival in a riot of colour, and Bollywood RJ was the highlight of the six-hour festivities. DJ Rudy, DJ Anirudh and RJ Vivek also headlined the energetic extravaganza, entertaining the crowd with foot-tapping music.
Spanning 500 metres, the event reached a remarkable milestone while bringing the world together in the UAE for the largest global gathering. Organizer Vidya Chaudhary aims to bring together all associations like Bihar Samaj, Gujarati Samaj, Maharashtra Mandal, Odiya Prabasi Odia Samaj, Abu Dhabi Kavya Manch, Telugu associations and all people from different cultural backgrounds. Event sponsors include Chappan Bhog, Café Eggsclusive, The Indian.
Artscrafts Founder & CEO Anil Kejriwal, Pranav Desai, Diwakar Prasad were also present at the event.
