ADJD’s 2022 semi-annual operating performance report showed that the Abu Dhabi Family, Civil, Administrative and Tenancy Courts handled a total of 5,630 cases, while the Commercial Court recorded 2,400 cases.
The labor court accepted 5,243 cases and enforced 107,447 judgments, with a completion rate of 98%.
Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Deputy Minister of ADJD, said that the high completion rate of judicial and legal proceedings, and the 100% implementation of the remote litigation system in Abu Dhabi courts, reflects the qualitative leap in service development and the improvement of the system. Al Abri highlighted the Judiciary’s commitment in the context of implementing its new Strategic Plan 2021-2023 to ensure business sustainability and continuity across various judicial proceedings and processes, while setting forward-looking goals and leveraging Modern technology allows court users to access a wide selection of judicial and legal services at ADJD.
In addition, the statistics report said that in the first six months of this year, the number of cases handled by the Abu Dhabi prosecutor’s office was 66,154, while the number of orders issued in criminal cases was 19,993. During the same period, 37,206 transfer orders were issued, and 39,556 judgment enforcement procedures were completed. The Public Prosecution Service also processed 49,061 requests filed electronically and conducted 6,182 investigations remotely.
In terms of the notarization business of the notary office, 44,958 transactions of the notary office and 41,893 transactions of video conference authentication have been completed.
