The capital takes a number of strategic measures to fight the epidemic
Authorities in Abu Dhabi announced that they will reduce the Covid-19 infection rate to 0.2% of the total number of tests in the capital.
Prior to this, the UAE implemented a strategy to fight the Covid-19 pandemic and achieved success through strict implementation of thorough prevention and preventive measures.
Abu Dhabi has adopted a number of strategic measures in the fight against Covid-19. These include intensive vaccination campaigns for all community members; targeted campaigns for vulnerable groups; ongoing active screening campaigns for all community members; and a comprehensive epidemiological tracking system for positive cases and contacts.
These measures also include security agreements across important departments; activating the green pass system to enter some public places; assessing the occupancy rate of public places and strictly monitoring compliance with preventive measures; using advanced technology to detect infections, including EDE scanners; and Strict policies are implemented for violators.
