United Arab Emirates – Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, for Iskan Abu Dhabi Unveiled, a new housing ‘one-stop shop’ offering citizens from Abu Dhabi all government housing services in a single location at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
The center provides support and guidance to citizens, making it easier for them to find the quality home that best suits their needs.
After the inauguration, Sheikh Khaled reviewed available services including housing grants, loans, loan forgiveness, exchange services and plot purchases. In addition, he reviewed services provided by strategic partners, including the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Teyaseer and Abu Dhabi Government Academy.
The launch of Iskan Abu Dhabi follows the recently updated Housing Benefit Policy which supports low-income citizens by increasing housing loans, free grants on ready homes and waiver of monthly installments irrespective of housing date for loan approval and waiver for senior citizens Pay off your home loan.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Sector, said: “Abu Dhabi’s leadership is committed to rolling out initiatives that improve quality of life, ensure family stability and strengthen community cohesion by providing citizens with quality homes in connected communities across Abu Dhabi. “The Director of Municipalities and Transport and the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.
Iskan Abu Dhabi’s services are complemented by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority’s digital application, which initially allows Phase 1 users to complete their housing journey through a pre-approved application.
“Iskan Abu Dhabi simplifies the housing journey, enabling citizens to access the housing benefits that meet their needs in the most humane and comprehensive way from one location,” added Al Shorafa.
