Abu Dhabi Development Foundation and Guinea explore opportunities to expand relationship

Abu Dhabi: – His Excellency Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Deputy Director General, Abu Dhabi Development Fund; meeting with His Excellency Alpha Bakar Barry, Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Employment of Guinea; on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai. The meeting was attended by Adel Abdulla Al Hosani, Director of Operations, ADFD; Khalil Al Mansoori, Acting Director, Abu Dhabi Export Office, and other officials from both parties.

The purpose of the meeting was to review existing relationships and explore opportunities for their further development, especially in the areas of development and economics. ADFD-funded projects in Guinea were also discussed. Both sides appreciated the strong relationship between the UAE and Guinea. HE Bacar Barry has deep admiration for ADFD’s key role in supporting developing countries and its commitment to promoting economic development in Guinea and across the continent.

ADFD has had a long and successful relationship with the Government of Guinea since 1977, when the Fund financed strategic projects in key sectors, providing approximately AED 440.8 million (US$ 120 million) in support of the Government of Guinea Guinea has made a significant contribution to its development plans.
