Organized by the Abu Dhabi Justice Department (ADJD), the 3rd Forum of Judicial Partners, themed ‘Jurisdiction and Advocacy: Digital Transformation, Case Management and Remote Litigation’, explored ways to strengthen Abu Dhabi courts’ litigation system and digitally transform the Judiciary Serve.
The move is aimed at supporting Abu Dhabi’s competitiveness as an attractive business and investment destination.
The forum was held at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy (ADJA) via videoconference and was attended by lawyers registered with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy’s Department of Lawyers and Expert Affairs, as well as representatives of countries and legal consultancies. International level.
It also reflects the importance of working with lawyers as strategic interlocutors for the judiciary and the need to hear their voices in the continuous development and improvement of the judiciary and legal services in line with the vision of ADJD and the commitment of HH Sheikh Mansour Deputy Prime Minister, bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of the Presidential Courts and Chairman of the ADJD, for perfect justice of international quality.
Moderated by Judge Sultan Al Nyadi, President of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Court, the forum covered a range of topics related to remote litigation systems and procedures within the Ministry of Justice courts. Participants discussed strategic factors affecting digital transformation and Internet courts, legislative and judicial developments in the digital transformation of court services, and remote litigation under the Civil Procedure Law. They also looked at the use of electronic and intelligent litigation processes, court case management, and ongoing modernization and development efforts aimed at creating an integrated AI system for all legal services.
