These will open up new horizons for cooperation between the two countries in numerous fields, including renewable energy, desalination technologies such as reverse osmosis, and low-carbon hydrogen production, transportation and storage, demand-side management and advanced irrigation. In addition to focusing on modern technologies outside of innovation.

The DOE’s scope of work and the areas that DOE seeks to develop through its strategic initiatives were presented to the ambassadors. The meeting was an opportunity to review some proposals for areas of future cooperation between the sector and the relevant Israeli authorities. Al Rumaithi said that Abu Dhabi’s energy sector has made great strides in diversifying its energy mix over the past decade, particularly with the opening of the Shams 1 Concentrated Solar Plant, the Noor Abu Dhabi Solar Plant and the first The reactor at the Barakah nuclear power plant after the operation of a solar power plant. Clean energy and water provide unlimited opportunities for cooperation between the two countries to help them achieve a carbon-neutral future.
