ABU DHABI – The Abu Dhabi Environment Authority (EAD) has announced the official launch of ADERN (Abu Dhabi Environmental Research Network), a community of research scientists, research institutions and co-innovators to convene research around gaps in scientific knowledge and development experts to continuously improve the emirate’s environment for stakeholders.

Focused on addressing environmental challenges, ADERN will play a vital role in advancing the understanding and implementation of sustainable development in Abu Dhabi.

Recognizing the urgency of the climate agenda and the inextricable link between climate, biodiversity loss and pollution, ADERN will address the climate science-policy agenda by harnessing research resources for interdisciplinary, multisectoral collaboration.
