All these initiatives and projects aim to provide customers with a series of proactive, personalized, collaborative and secure services.
GITEX Technology Week is one of the world’s largest annual consumer computer and electronics trade shows, exhibitions and conferences, held at the Dubai World Trade Center. It starts on October 17 and ends on October 21, 2021.
Among the innovations displayed at the exhibition, the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion launched a comprehensive platform on the opening day to effectively manage incidents and emergencies in a unified way. The system connects the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Center (ADCMC) with twelve Abu Dhabi government entities. It is divided into multiple modules, including notifications, daily events, notifications and event records. It provides detailed information about the incident and the steps required to increase the level of the incident if needed. In addition, people can use the platform to collect or assign a range of resources and capabilities to support leaders or supporting entities in emergency situations.
At the same time, “TAMM” announced a series of new preferential options for Abu Dhabi payment customers who use the facility to pay for government services. New options include the Abu Dhabi Pay credit card in partnership with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Link Payment by Link and Samsung Pay.
On the second day, Abu Dhabi Customs launched the invisible customs program to improve the efficiency of the customs process, save time for dealers, investors and traders, while promoting trade flows and sustainable economic growth.
The next day, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi also launched the Intangible Heritage Register, an online portal on the “CulturAll” platform, which stores information on more than 1,200 registered and approved heritage elements.
The second day also announced the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE) Energy and Water Consumption Heat Map Dashboard-a new tool designed to help customers and stakeholders assess energy and water resources in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Usage. The dashboard enables users to determine energy and water consumption in specific areas and provides access to all DoE stakeholders, including residential customers, building owners, and energy managers.
In addition, the Abu Dhabi Ministry of Energy has developed a new model to simulate the growth of water demand and distribution. It can present various environmental and socio-economic scenarios and management strategies to optimize all sources of supply and provide information about water-related policies and decisions.
The previous two days witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding to strengthen the partnership and cooperation between government entities in Abu Dhabi and companies in the technology industry.
