Abu Dhabi Government College and Abu Dhabi Youth Committee celebrate the second batch of “Abu Dhabi Next Generation” graduates

The Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG) is a pioneering government platform for the development of human capital in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Youth Committee today held a virtual graduation ceremony for the second batch of students of the “Abu Dhabi Next Generation” program.

The ceremony commemorated 216 graduates, including residents and citizens of Abu Dhabi, who achieved success, hard work and determination throughout the program.

The “Abu Dhabi Next Generation” program developed by ADSG and the Abu Dhabi Youth Council in cooperation with the global e-learning platform Udacity aims to further develop the technical skills of young people, improve their ability to become future leaders, and strengthen the youth skills platform of the emirate .

The focus of the program is to improve the skills of young citizens and residents aged 18-35 in Abu Dhabi, giving them the opportunity to obtain nanodegrees and certifications in business analysis and digital marketing. This year, 62 participants received digital marketing certifications, 108 received degrees in business analysis, 44 received degrees in artificial intelligence programming using Python, and 2 received degrees in web and application development.

By providing participants with opportunities to develop themselves in these fields and explore other fields and interests, the “Abu Dhabi Next Generation” program encourages the younger generation to pursue the concept of sustainable and continuous learning, so that they can quickly adapt to industry changes and take advantage of their Stand out in his career.

86% of the participants were UAE citizens, and 14% of them were residents from other countries. 84% of participants have a higher education degree, 64% have a bachelor’s degree, and 20% have a master’s degree.

As part of the nanotechnology degree certification, the second batch of Abu Dhabi Next Generation received more than 600 registration applications and nearly 1,900 submissions for technology graduation projects. These projects used Python to explore areas such as digital marketing, front-end web development, business analysis, and AI programming.
