The Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG) is a leading government platform for the development of human capital in Abu Dhabi. It is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Government Support. Abu Dhabi government employees provide knowledge and skills related to finance, ethics, and investment practices.
The program is aimed at government employees in Abu Dhabi who work in the financial sector and have practical experience between 1 and 5 years. It combines interactive face-to-face training and distance learning, as well as group work, public debate and coaching support.
His Excellency Mohamed Gheyath, Acting Director General of ADSG, said: “We are very pleased to launch the investment foundation program, which aims to hone the professional knowledge and skills of Abu Dhabi government employees in the investment/finance field. Excellent opportunities for skill sets that enable them to perform well in their respective fields.
He added: “Our plan is to let participants understand the latest developments and requirements of the current and future job market, so that they can contribute to the emirate’s continuous outstanding contribution and realize the UAE’s vision of building knowledge-the basic economy.”

The program aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the investment industry and its important role in the world by providing a clear learning foundation, while also providing them with a deep understanding of ethics and organizational skills. These studies will focus on key principles of the industry, including emphasizing customer trust, building personal and professional reputation, and providing customers with high value. In addition, participants will understand how the global economy works from the overall perspective and through its small details, focusing on how it will affect the financial performance of the organization. The plan will also help employees prepare for CFA Level 1 certification.
In addition, the program will help participants learn how to use the industry’s systems and regulations to ensure that their customers receive the best possible service.
After successfully completing the course and passing the exam, participants will receive a certificate jointly recognized by ADSG and Abu Dhabi Global Market Institute.
To date, ADSG has launched more than 23 training programs that have provided Abu Dhabi government employees with abilities and skills upgrades.
