Abu Dhabi government showcases 100 digital initiatives at GITEX Global 2022

By providing a unified platform to include all government entities in Abu Dhabi.

More than 30 government and academic entities attended the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion to showcase their latest digital innovation projects, initiatives and applications aimed at improving the quality of life of the Abu Dhabi community and supporting the UAE’s digital transformation journey.

The Abu Dhabi Government’s participation in GITEX Global 2022 is overseen by the Abu Dhabi High Council for Digital Government as part of its services to implement a governance framework and fundamentally change the concept of government in Abu Dhabi, towards a digital future. It aligns with efforts to enable an integrated digital government based on innovation and creativity to serve all members of society in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, while strengthening partnerships between government entities and the private sector.

GITEX Global 2022 offers the Abu Dhabi government the opportunity to showcase initiatives launched by government entities within key pillars of the Abu Dhabi digital agenda, including government services, digital government solutions, data and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital ecosystems enable.

Ali Rashid Al Ketbi, Chairman, Department of Government Support, Abu Dhabi, said: “The importance of GITEX Global 2022 is that it is a global platform to strengthen strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors and explore new opportunities for meaningful collaboration with academics The world is working with major global technology companies to support Abu Dhabi’s digital agenda. HE Al Ketbi added: “By participating in GITEX Global 2022, the Government of Abu Dhabi aims to showcase what the emirate has achieved in the field of digital transformation and how we can build on these achievements, the latest of which is all Abu Dhabi Government Serving TAMM, Abu Dhabi’s unified government services ecosystem. Through TAMM, government services are transformed into 100% digital services, enabling communities in Abu Dhabi to easily access all government services in the UAE and complete transactions smoothly and quickly.”

His Excellency Dr Mohamed Abdel Hamid Al Askar, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, said: “We are delighted to organise the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at this year’s event, enabling Abu Dhabi government entities to showcase their new digital initiatives, explore innovative ideas, And adopt digital technologies to help them progress and succeed in the field of digital transformation.”

HE Al Askar highlighted the importance of the pavilion as a platform to enhance cooperation and partnerships between government entities that are engaged under one umbrella and united for one goal – to improve the quality of life of the community, for the All residents of Abu Dhabi achieve happiness.

The Government Pavilion Abu Dhabi will showcase the latest projects and digital transformation initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in the emirate, and highlight the important role government entities play in developing fast, effective and proactive digital government solutions to support improved government performance, And help enrich the customer experience.

During GITEX Global 2022, the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion will also host a series of events, including the Capture the Flag competition, one of the most prestigious cybersecurity competitions in the world. The “Ethical Hacking” competition aims to improve the skills of “Ethical Hacking,” a group of cybersecurity researchers who work to infiltrate websites, applications, and computer networks to test their security levels and predict possible hacks against companies and government entities attack.

During GITEX Global 2022, the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion will host a series of events including the launch of innovative digital initiatives and the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding to strengthen strategic public-private partnerships, facilitate digital transformation processes and secure significant investment in private sector companies Chance.
