Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Transport Authority has opened three roads in the capital, including those in the capital’s Al Reef and Al Falah suburbs.

The Integrated Traffic Center (ITC) of the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport has urged motorists to drive carefully around closed and newly opened roads, detailing various changes to the road network in Abu Dhabi City.

Authorities announced that a new signalized intersection in the Al Reef area will now allow motorists to travel from Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road via Al Kouwthar Street to Al Falah area, or Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road to Yas Island. The intersection opened to traffic on Thursday, March 16.

In the Al Falah area, another new road will connect Al Khalidiyah Street with Al Falah Drive and Al Khayr Street via Al Falah Central Mall. The road will open at midnight on Saturday, March 18.

Within Abu Dhabi Island, a new road in the Al Mina area called Shinaf Street will connect Al Mina Street with Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road to Saadiyat Island. To facilitate this, the ITC will close a nearby road. These changes will take effect at midnight on Monday, March 20.
