Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: ADNEC Group is organizing the first Abu Dhabi than the International Food Fair (ADIFE) event. Organized in partnership with ADAFSA and in partnership with the Khalifa International Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation Awards, the event was held in conjunction with the 8th Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition from 6-8 December.
His Excellency Saeed Al Bahri Salem Al Ameri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), said: “We will be participating as a strategic partner in launching the first Abu Dhabi International Food Expo (ADIFE).The partnership will underscore Abu Dhabi’s position as the most prosperous and fastest-growing market for the food industry in the Middle East and globally.
“ADIFE is an ideal platform for start-ups and entrepreneurs in the restaurant and hospitality industry. It provides them with the opportunity to learn from a wide range of global experts on different operating ways to contribute to the ambitions of global leaders in the field,” added His Excellency.
“We are committed to launching a range of strategic plans and initiatives related to food and its safety. During our engagement, we will be signing a number of agreements with key partners from government and the private sector, as well as civil society institutions. The exhibition is expected to witness The signing of many other partnerships and deals, as well as agreements between a large number of government and private sector entities. It will hold a series of bilateral meetings between buyers and sellers in various supply chains within the scope of the Buyers Program initiative,” Your Excellency concluded.

The event includes a number of accompanying activities, including a global buyer program. The show will also host the second edition of the World Food Show in Abu Dhabi, where professional chefs will give visitors educational sessions and compete for valuable prizes. The event will be held in the unique World Gourmet Show Kitchen, which features an aquaculture garden, providing guests with valuable information on this style of gardening that uses water and nutrients instead of soil. It also houses a beverage lab offering a wide selection of luxury beverages and coffees. The first edition of the exhibition will also feature the ADIFE Panel Discussions, three days of various dialogue panels held during the event, featuring international chefs and senior officials of the industry.

Exhibitors can sign up for the awards, overseen by a panel of expert and industry veteran judges, offering exhibitors a special opportunity to showcase their new products to the thousands of attendees.
Another event during the exhibition is the International Latte Art Championship, one of the most important international competitions in the field. This exclusive event will be attended by Luigi Lupi, founder of Latte Art Coffee School and creator of the school’s grading system and its globally recognized certificates.
ADIFE will also shed light on the rapid growth of the coffee industry as the most widely consumed beverage in the world, including two championships accredited by the International Coffee Association: the UAE National Coffee Championship and the Gastronomy Championship 2023 International Coffee Championship as a qualifying event.
ADIFE is expected to witness the announcement of numerous contracts and deals and the signing of partnership agreements between a wide range of government agencies and private sector companies, in addition to a series of bilateral meetings between buyers and sellers in various supply chains.
The event will include various side events and events highlighting the most important issues related to food production, hospitality of all kinds and food service, as well as a number of international seminars and competitions.
