Abu Dhabi Business Centre (ADBC) and Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), affiliated with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), have launched a consumer dispute resolution service to expedite the resolution of consumer and business organisations in Abu Dhabi Disputes between Zabi, amicably and at the best possible cost for the parties involved.

The service is designed to resolve disputes between consumers and businesses within 21 days of the date the parties appear before the Consumer Dispute Resolution Services team. The mediator may extend the period for a further 21 days if deemed necessary.
The task of the mediators of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Service is to meet the parties to the dispute, bring their views together, and resolve the dispute amicably. They may seek the assistance of an ADJD-registered expert or an expert agreed by the litigants to provide technical expertise. Resolved disputes will be approved by a judge with power to enforce bonds and judicial rulings, while unresolved disputes will be submitted to the ADJD.
After the ADJD completes the training program, members of the Consumer Dispute Resolution Team are sworn in as mediators.
