March 14 was a special day for parents Haleema Musthafa and Thaiseer Abdul Kareem. The Abu Dhabi-based couple welcomed three children on exact dates over the past nine years. Their daughter Tanisha Tahani was born in 2014, their two sons Muhammad Emin in 2018 and Hyzin Hamd on March 14 this year. The whole family celebrates one of the rarest events in childbirth on Cloud Nine. The beaming parents from the Kannur district of Kerala state in India shared their happiness and utter disbelief with the Khaleej Times.
“We are so excited. God blessed us with our third child on the same day as March 14. It was an incredible feeling. This holy month of Ramadan has become extra special for the family,” says the mother of three. said proud mother Haleema.
Father Thaiseer referred to the situation as a gift from God, rather than a planned pregnancy.
“Tanisha is nine now, Emin is five, and the newborn is two weeks old. The first two were born four years apart. This month we became parents for the third time. This is a gift from Allah. You can never put things like childbirth Precisely scheduled for a specific date. We were excited and overwhelmed,” said Thaiseer, a category manager at LuLu Group International.
“Tanisha was born in Kerala, where I was working, as part of the opening of the LuLu Shopping Center in Kochi at the time. Both boys were born here. Emin and Burjeel Hospital, NMC Royal Women’s Hospital (formerly Brightpoint Royal Women’s Hospital) Hamd,” said Thaiseer, who has worked here for the past 16 years.
“Both sons were due on the same day March 14th. It was a blissful feeling when we got the due date after the last scan. But we didn’t disclose it to anyone because the delivery date could have different. However, by the grace of Allah, everything is going well. Both the mother and the newborn are fine.”
Both Tanisha and Emin study at Sunrise English Private School. Their birthday is a special day at home with cakes of different flavors and designs. In fact, Tanisha spent her second birthday in the hospital.
“We told Tanisha and Emin they were going to receive a surprise gift on their birthday. But they didn’t know it was a baby brother. They were surprised and delighted. They handed out candy at the hospital while celebrating the arrival of the new member and their birthday.”
Dr Pathukutty Mohammed, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi, said such cases were rare.
“I remember baby Hyzin Hamd’s siblings handing out sweets. I didn’t know all three were born on the same day. It’s extremely rare for three children to be born on the same day. I haven’t heard of that in my career Perhaps this is the first instance of its kind in the region. The baby was born on the due date. Both mother and baby are normal and healthy.”
The Guinness World Record is held by a family of five siblings who were born on the same day, 20 February. Its records date back to 1966. According to Guinness World Records, the random chance of five single siblings having the same birth date is one in 17 billion.
Thaiseer pointed out that they may have more children in the future.
“We didn’t know there was a Guinness World Record. We didn’t have Planned Parenthood. We might have more kids.”
Currently, the family is planning to celebrate three birthdays in big fashion next year.
“This will be Hamed’s first birthday. All my family and friends are excited about it. We will be planning a special celebration next year,” added Thaiseer.
