In line with its vision to invest in the country’s youth development, the signing of the MoU came ahead of the “Riwaq Al Fikr – ADMAF Lecture: Music and Artificial Intelligence” held in the auditorium of the AI Knowledge Center at Mohamed bin Zayed University.

The Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) as part of its efforts to empower the nation’s youth and help them develop their skills part of an ongoing effort. Through the agreement, the parties aim to create access to knowledge by co-curating a program involving international professors, speakers, artists-in-residence, scientists and thought leaders in the cultural and creative fields.
HE Huda Alkhamis-Kanoo, Founder of Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation and Artistic Director of Abu Dhabi Music Festival, said: “Speaking with Mohammad bin Understanding by Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. ”
His Excellency continued, “This MoU marks an exciting new chapter at the intersection of technology and the arts. The MOU will see both entities affirm their commitment to foster a cultural and creative environment for emerging local talent through key activities including STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) programs, artist residencies and publication of research papers, in addition Riwaq Al Fikr in the evening – ADMAF Talk This is an initiative launched by ADMAF in 2010 to promote cultural and artistic dialogue between industry experts and the public.

Riwaq Al Fikr – ADMAF Lecture in partnership with MBZUAI entitled “Music and Artificial Intelligence” following the signing of the MOU, held a thought-provoking discussion with the audience on how new AI technologies can create a unique art form in the auditorium of the University’s Knowledge Center Across Music and the expression of the performing arts, and their impact on the future of music.
