Abu Dhabi named world’s best family holiday destination, Dubai in second place

[ad_1]

With all the theme parks, beaches, shopping centers, and active adventures, it’s really no surprise…

If you’re a parent, or you know – you just have functioning sense organs – it might not be the biggest surprise that two UAE cities topped a recent survey of family-friendly world travel destinations .

In addition to all the theme parks, aquariums, shopping malls, rainforest replica biodome, sporting events, live music and Kidzania type of STEM hot entertainment, there’s also great outdoor activities – beaches, parks, al fresco brunch, Markets, adventure parks, bike trails, forest walks, open-air festivals, camping trips and desert adventures. Friendly staff, ultra-low crime rates and an associated sense of security, smart city solutions make everything easier. Oh, literally year-round sunshine.

Despite facing it on a daily basis, it is an aspect of life where immigrant families rarely get complacent. If you do, a quick home will usually fix the problem.

Where are the best places for a family vacation?

experts, in Family Vacation Guide, agree. After a thorough survey of 69 cities around the world, they ranked urban centers according to their qualifications as family-friendly destinations. Abu Dhabi ranked first, followed by Dubai. As for the rest, it’s not that close – both cities in the UAE outperformed their closest competitors by 10%.

How are these cities ranked?

The family vacation guide uses data points covering a range of vacation fun factors, including safety, pollution, weather, affordability and the number of family-friendly attractions. Dubai and Abu Dhabi consistently score highly across categories.

What about the rest?

You can find the full list herebut a quick glance – Turkey’s Antalya is third, Madrid is fourth, and Heraklion, on the Greek island of Crete, is fifth.

At the bottom of the list are Mexico City (must go to the Mexican coast?) at 69th; Brussels, Belgium (in the shadows) at 68th; and Dublin (sorry) at 67th.
