Abu Dhabi restaurant reopens with menu from two Michelin-starred chefs

Bord Eau will be reviving its fine French restaurant from October 20th…

even recently announced Abu Dhabi is now a Michelin Guide city (We’re just waiting to hear who’s honored in November) The city’s culinary credentials did seem to have moved up a notch last year.

We’ve seen some notable additions to the Capital Food Encyclopedia – especially on Yas Island, Saadiyat and Corniche. But what we’re really excited about this month is not “something new” but “something is back and it looks better than ever”.

Bord Eau, Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi’s fine French restaurant is back – reopening with a very special guest, two Michelin-starred Chef Sylvain Sendra.

He’s taking some hard-earned annual leave at his famous Parisian restaurant, La Fleur De Pave, in preparation for a six-course gastronomic extravaganza, which will be held in Bord from Thursday 20 October to Sunday 23 October as part of the event Eau tasting. Shangri-La’s mouthwatering culinary masters series.

Prices start from AED 488, wine pairing menus start at AED 696, and for those looking to add a Michelin star to their CV one day, there is also a hands-on cooking class of AED 168 (including a glass of wine).

What’s on the menu?

Highlights of the all-star meal included “a delicious side dish centered on ravioli with mushrooms and eggs,” “classic Choux Fleur Vanilla with creamy purée,” and “Pigeon molasses with pomegranate, sumac, beetroot, and black currant.”

Weekly operations at Bord Eau will begin on October 28, 2022, following a limited run of Michelin-rated morsals. A grand return to canal views, a deli-sharing setting, and spectacular French cuisine from a refined menu.
