Snow Abu Dhabi, the first indoor ski park of its kind in the region, is now open to the public.
The indoor snow park brings another innovative experience to visitors from the MENA region.
Snow Abu Dhabi is located in the heart of Reem Mall, Abu Dhabi’s iconic retail, leisure, dining and entertainment destination. The attraction covers an area of ​​9,732 square meters.
When the outside temperature is above 40°C, it can maintain a temperature of -2°C and a snow depth of 500mm.
The interior of Snow Abu Dhabi is themed around an enchanted forest – a polar world for the whole family to enjoy. The Magic Forest covers 20 rides and attractions including the Crystal Carousel, Polar Express, Snowy Owl Flying, Snow Garden, and Magic Tree.
Guests can enjoy an array of attractions including a toboggan, carousel and zip line. There are two huge slides here – the Ice Toboggan Race and Graupel’s Peak Escape.
Snow Abu Dhabi will serve food in the form of three food and beverage outlets decorated with real snow.
The inauguration was attended by Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director of Tourism, Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism; Ignace Lahoud, CEO, Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment; and Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, Global Snow Department Vice President Mohammad El Etri.
