Abu Dhabi Global Market is strengthening blockchain education in the region with a new digital asset school. Launched by Abu Dhabi Academy of Global Markets (ADGMA), the knowledge arm of the financial hub, the school will focus on blockchain and digital asset education for professionals registered with the academy.
The school is a collaborative initiative of the Center for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE), Binance Academy and Avnon Academy. The official launch took place on Wednesday during Abu Dhabi Financial Week (ADFW), hosted by ADGM. The event will take place from November 14-18, 2022.
According to the announcement, the new ADGMA Digital Asset Academy will offer multiple levels of education, including basic, intermediate and advanced courses.These plans will focus on Metaversenon-fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrencies, blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and cybersecurity.
NFTs Is a blockchain-based digital file that represents proof of ownership of a collectible, artwork or JPEG. More recently, brands have unlocked an unlimited number of use cases, creating entirely new revenue options for businesses.
As businesses continue to embrace NFTs, metaverses, and decentralized finance applications, ADGMA hopes to prepare professionals for the new era of blockchain technology.
ADGMA has also launched an extended learning program in partnership with Binance Academy, offering free blockchain and crypto education in more than 20 languages. Binance is the world’s leading cryptocurrency trading platform. Its venture arm, Binance Labs, has expanded the company’s addressable market through partnerships with ADGMA, acquisitions, and multi-stage investments.
