Carlos Brathwaite’s all-around performance paves way for 33-game winning streak

The Chennai Braves braved a challenge from the Bangla Tigers with a superb all-around display from Carlos Brathwaite to seal their 33rd straight win in the Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Friday.
In the third game of the day, the Chennai Warriors went 6 for 126 from 10 overs, with Carlos Brathwaite undefeated for 44 runs. The Bengals were limited to 93, with Brathwaite taking four wickets in three overs.
Earlier, Abu Dhabi and Delhi Bulls battled for a win but the match ended in a draw.
The game was so intense that after Abu Dhabi was 2 for 120 from 10 overs through Brandon King’s unbeaten 64, the Derry Bulls chased the target strongly but could only chase Tie the score on the last goal. Imad Wasim struggles to keep the Derry Bulls on target on a 21-game unbeaten run.

The third pitch was hit out of bounds by Imad for seven runs on three balls. The fourth resulted in two byes, including an overturn. Imad then ran two runs to long range on the fifth ball. The last ball needs three points to win and it’s anyone’s game. Imad’s through ball allowed him just two runs and the game ended in a draw.
