Abu Dhabi T10: New York striker signs Indian cricketer Stuart Binney for season 6 Cricket News

Abu Dhabi, 6th November 2022: With less than a month to go before the sixth season of T10 Abu Dhabi, the enthusiasm for the game is at its peak. New York Strikers, one of the new teams this season, have announced that Indian cricketer Stuart Binney has joined their squad. The 38-year-old, who has the best bowling stats in ODI cricket, won the Indians’ favour with 6/4 against Bangladesh and has long been regarded as one of the best in white-ball cricket. One of the best buddy busters.

Coming from a cricketing family, Binny is experienced in white-ball cricket, having played for Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

The all-rounder is also a very hands-on hitter in the second period of the second inning and has a good scoring ability that will undoubtedly benefit the New York forwards in a dynamic Abu Dhabi T10 season. A veteran of over 300 matches, Binny has been involved in a fantastic two weeks of Abu Dhabi cricket with the likes of Kieron Pollard, Eoin Morgan and Wahab Riaz.

Speaking out, Stuart Binny said: “I am delighted to be joining the New York Strikers and hope to make a major impact on their journey to the world. This team is filled with very exciting white-ball cricketers, I will do everything possible to bring out the best in me. We want our fans to have fun when they come to watch us play.”

New York Strikers owner Sagar Khanna said: “Stuart Binny brings a lot of experience to the team and has played in the IPL for many years, and I’m sure his knowledge of the game will help New York Strikers. He’s explosive with both the bat and the ball, which is what our New York Strikers need in our inaugural season.”

Abu Dhabi T10 Season 6 kicks off on November 23 with the New York strikers taking on the Bengals in their first game at 4pm local time.
