Abu Dhabi to host first international food fair in December – News

Experts and major companies specializing in the food, beverage and hospitality industries will gather in Abu Dhabi this December for the first ever Global Food Show in the UAE.

The first edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition (ADIFE) is scheduled to take place on 6 December 2022 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the Abu Dhabi Media Office announced on Tuesday.

The exhibition, which will run until 8 December, is organised by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), and is co-hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Sponsorship of Al Nahyan. Minister of the Presidential Court, Chairman of the ADAFSA Board of Directors.

In addition to the many experts, experts and decision makers in this important industry, the exhibition is expected to witness extensive local and international participation from major companies specializing in the food, beverage and hospitality industries.

Saeed Al Bahri Al Ameri, Director General of ADAFSA, said: “The launch of the inaugural Abu Dhabi International Food Show reflects the growing importance of the industry on both a local and international level, and will showcase the latest technologies in food manufacturing and production for major global companies and explore Investment opportunities that help strengthen food security and ensure a better future for future generations. It will serve as a platform to connect with key buyers in a business climate that supports and encourages partnerships and sales.”

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC, said: “The event will serve as a global platform to showcase the latest innovations, find new partnerships and explore investment opportunities in this sector,” he added.

In addition to a series of meetings between buyers and suppliers in various supply chains, Abu Dhabi International Food Show is expected to witness the signing of many contracts, deals and partnerships between numerous government agencies and private sector agencies.

The event will also include a series of activities that will illuminate the most important and important topics related to food production and various hospitality and food services.
