Fireworks and drone displays promise to break three Guinness World Records, allowing visitors to truly welcome the new year in style. At most of these locations, revelers can reserve a table at a restaurant and ring in the New Year with a festive dinner. Many events will also be open past midnight on December 31st. For example, the Ripe Market and its shops on Al Maryah Island will be open until 1am on January 1, as will the Winter Village for activities such as skating, sledding and snowfall.
