Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi University (ADU) has announced ChatGPT guidelines to help teachers and students use artificial intelligence (AI) tools created by Open-AI, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The announcement is part of the University’s commitment to using innovative artificial intelligence technologies to develop students’ learning experiences, enhance their teaching methods and research capabilities.
ChatGPT is a large-scale language model that can be used for a wide range of tasks, such as answering questions, providing information, generating text, and participating in conversations on various topics.
This is an example of a conversational AI model that uses natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques to understand and respond to human input in a chat-like fashion.
ADU guidelines for students and staff place great emphasis on using Chat-GPT ethically and responsibly and in compliance with University policies and procedures.
Provide students with instructions on using the app in the correct manner to avoid plagiarism and understand that the generated content may be inaccurate and should be changed accordingly.
Students have the opportunity to try out new techniques and tools that can help them improve their research capabilities thanks to technology.
