Ongoing works along the Al Maqtaa Bridge mean the two rightmost lanes towards Abu Dhabi and the two leftmost lanes towards Al Ain will be closed from 11pm on Friday until 5am on Monday 5 September.
Further down Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (E22), the rightmost lane to Al Ain will be closed to traffic along Baniyas West and Al Ghanadeer Streets from 11pm Friday to 5am Monday.
The ramp to Yas Island and the adjacent right-hand lane on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road (E12) near Laffan Street will also be closed from 10pm Saturday to 5am Monday
In the city, Al Karamah Street will be closed in stages, between Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubaerak Street and Mohammed bin Khalifa Street, just past Umm Al Emarat Park. The two leftmost lanes will be closed from 11pm Friday to 11pm Saturday. At the same time, the two right-hand lanes on the same road will be closed – from 11 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Another announcement was related to Theab bin Eissa Street in the city of Shahbut. The ramp to Mafraq, and the adjacent right lane to Al Shawamekh, will be blocked from midnight on Saturday until 5am on Monday.
In Mohamed bin Zayed City, two-way roads along Al Nasr Street will be completely closed from Sunday to Saturday, 15 October. A section of Al Qaid Street will also be closed from Sunday to Saturday, October 15, with detours allowed to 29.
The ITC has urged motorists to drive with caution and to obey traffic rules and regulations at all times.
