Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s ultra-low-fare national carrier, has started a new route to Ankara, Turkey’s second largest city, a modern European metropolis rich in history.
The new route provides hassle-free point-to-point travel for tourists and residents of the UAE and Turkey. Tickets are available on wizzair.com and the airline’s mobile app for as low as AED 199.
Ankara is the center of Turkey and Central Anatolia, with its many shopping malls, state capitol and bustling nightlife, as well as the unique opportunity to experience its well-preserved architecture. Exciting attractions include the ancient castle and the ruins of two remarkable monuments at the heart of Turkey’s story – Anıtkabir, a tribute to the founder of modern Turkiye, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations – alongside a vibrant art and cultural scene.
The national carrier currently flies to more than 36 destinations in 25 different countries and is poised to further accelerate and expand operations in 2023, the company said.
Flights from Abu Dhabi to Ankara operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
