The 14th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championships has announced a Dh3 million prize pool for the nine-day competition.
Dubbed the World Professional Championship, the highlight of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF) season, the best athletes from more than 100 countries will be held in the capital starting Friday.
Some athletes arrive in the city early for the competition Jiu Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) World ChampionshipsThe UAE topped the medal table with 27 golds, 17 silvers and 20 bronzes, which ended on Tuesday.
World Pro’s opening day will feature youth and disabled Jiu-Jitsu competitions, which will be held simultaneously on 11 mats.
Abdulmunam Hashmi, Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Chairman of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Federation and Senior Vice-President of the Japan Jiu-Jitsu Federation, expressed his gratitude to the UAE leadership for their consistent support.

Fahad Ali Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, added: “Offering a total of Dh3 million to the winners demonstrates our commitment to making jiu-jitsu talents from around the world appreciated and encourages them to continue their efforts to improve themselves. skills . . . ”

November 11-12: Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Festival.
November 13-14: World Junior Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Abu Dhabi.
November 15-16: World Jiu-Jitsu Masters Championships in Abu Dhabi.
November 17-19: Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championships, followed by Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Awards.
