Pura means “pure life” in Costa Rica, and that’s exactly what the owners of this private resort, Emirati brothers Abdalla Almannaee and Ibrahim Almannaee and their cousin Bashar Hamed, wanted to bring to Abu Dhabi.
“We are inspired by beauty and the environment [nature of Montenegro] in our [adventure] Visit and we decided to take it home,” Abdalla told Khaleej Times.
“We decided to bring the first eco-resort to Abu Dhabi. We wanted to draw ecological elements from nature and its surroundings [to the] people [of] Abu Dhabi and take advantage of the emirate’s stunning setting. “
Open from September to June, the resort also hosts events such as weddings and parties for up to 150 people. Accommodation prices range from Dh500 to Dh2,000 depending on the season.
