The Integrated Transport Center (ITC), part of the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport, has won 13 Mena Stevie Awards for its efforts in delivering innovative solutions and quality public transport services.
ITC received four Gold Awards, six Silver Awards and three Bronze Awards in recognition of its innovative services, projects and initiatives in the field of transport, thereby improving the quality of services provided to the public and contributing to the establishment of smart, integrated and sustainable traffic system.
ITC received Gold Awards in four categories, including Government Service Innovation for the Abu Dhabi Strategic Transport Model (STEAM+) project, an advanced multimedia tool that uses artificial intelligence and big data analytics to predict traffic demand rates.
ITC’s Unified Licensing System project (LES) won the Gold Award in the Technology Development Innovation category – Other Sector, an electronic system developed by ITC to manage the taxi transport sector, including systems for licensed operators, taxis and drivers , and training, inspection, monitoring and reporting communications, and performance measurement tools.
The center also received a Gold Award for the Strategic Transportation Modeling (STEAM) project in the Business Services Innovation category (B2B), and the Strategic Transportation Modeling project (Birdseye) in the Business Technology and Applied Innovations category, a digital platform for display and analysis related to All data related to STEAM+, both input and output, in addition to using big data from ITC and relevant strategic partners to visualize the current state of the transportation network. – trade arab news agency
