ABU DHABI, 13th March, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company, Tadweer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to explore new areas in waste management. department.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, President-designate of COP28 and UAE Special Envoy on Climate Change; Dr. Bisher al-Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan; and Dr. Muawieh Radaideh, Jordanian Minister of the Environment.
The agreement was signed by Ali Al Dhaheri, CEO of Tadweer. Amman Mayor Yousef Al Shawarbeh during a company delegation visit to Jordan.
Under the MoU, the parties aim to explore partnerships and potential investment opportunities between the public and private sectors of the two countries.
The parties also seek to exchange best practices, knowledge, research and research, and organize training and awareness initiatives in the field of waste management.
Ali Al Dhaheri said: “The signing of the MoU reaffirms Tadweer’s commitment to forging partnerships with local and global stakeholders in the field of waste management.
