Abu Dhabi’s The Grove mixed-use development wins contract

The management contract for The Grove mixed-use development in Saadiyat Cultural District, Abu Dhabi City, has been officially awarded.contract was awarded Hill Internationalan American architectural consulting firm founded in 1976.

As part of a project management consulting (PMC) service contract, Hill International will provide more than just project management services. It will also be responsible for construction management, HSE management and cost and schedule control. In addition, the US company will oversee document control and other “on-demand” support.

The project includes the development of a total of 2,000 residential units, two world-class hotels and 400 serviced apartments. In addition, 130,000 square meters of experiential lifestyle and retail space will be developed. All of these will be spread over three areas, namely Grove Heart, Louvre Apartments and Dunes Villas.

The first phase of the project, which Hill International has contracted, will include more than 440,000 square meters of residential and commercial facilities. All of these make up the Grove Heart and Louvre apartments, which are expected to be completed by December 2024. The 45,000sqm built-up area of ​​Dunes 83 villas will also be developed as part of The Grove’s first phase. The expected completion date for these projects is November 2023.

The Grove mixed-use development is conveniently located for several well-known attractions. These include the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Guggenheim and the Sheikh Zayed National Museum. Once fully completed, the Grove will be connected to these museums through its surrounding plaza.
