Academy of Country Music Awards Ready to Party With Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks

Co-host Dolly Parton was there to help him if he needed it — and neither expressed any concern in a recent interview. “We have a script that serves as a guide and timing for the show, but I very much doubt we’re going to stick too close,” Parton said.

Parton will perform “World on Fire,” a song from her new rock album.

Performances are a hallmark of ACM, which often pairs artists who would not normally perform together. “They’re so cool, I love them,” Brooks said.
