Forer Oakland Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs faces two felony charges after being involved in a car accident that resulted in the death of a woman. On Wednesday morning, Ruggs appeared before the judge wearing a neck brace to resolve the fatal crash.
Authorities released Ruggs’ facial photos and revealed that he was driving at 156 miles per hour at the time of the accident. His blood alcohol concentration was 0.161, more than twice the legal limit.As we are As previously reported, Ruggs has been released from Raiders and changed to drunk driving. The authorities also found a loaded gun in his car.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Ruggs could only decelerate its vehicle to 127 MPH upon impact, which caused the two vehicles to collide and roll over 500 feet. The woman’s Toyota RAV4 subsequently caught fire, resulting in the death of her and her dog.
The judge set Ruggs’ bail and $150,000 and prohibited him from drinking alcohol or driving a vehicle. As part of the bail document, he was also required to wear electronic monitoring advice.
