A source close to the situation told TMZ that Travis has been meeting with leaders of the US Conference of Mayors in the past few weeks to promote the implementation of the plan. USCM is reportedly lobbying for the interests of more than 1,400 cities across the country, and it is reportedly helping Travis form a committee to produce a safety report for future shows.
The organization’s objective overview states that it will “actively focus on new technologies and innovations to provide solutions to these challenges with the help of government, public safety, emergency response, medical incident management, music, and technical members.”
Travis Scott will lead the program with Hillary Schieve, Chairman of the USCM Tourism, Arts, Parks, Recreation and Sports Committee.
