AD Ports Group today announced the launch of a new shipping service to improve commercial and logistical connections with Qatar and Kuwait.
In addition to offering free shipping throughout Ramadan for shipments arriving via road transport, shipments will be delivered via containers between the ports of Khalifa in the UAE, Hamad in Qatar and Shuwaih and/or Shuaiba in Kuwait transported by boat, a statement said.
Additionally, AD Ports Group will offer customers a digital booking system for new shipping services through the Advanced Trade & Logistics Platform (ATLP), developed and operated by Maqta Gateway, the digital arm of AD Ports Group, at the Ministry of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi .
Captain Ammar Mubarak Al Shaiba, Acting Chief Executive Officer, AD Ports Group Maritime Cluster and SAFEEN Group, said: “As a key facilitator of logistics, industry and trade, AD Ports Group is leveraging its capabilities to meet the requirements of our clients and partners. The launch of this new service between Khalifa Port, Hamad and Shuwayh/Shuwaiba ports is the establishment of a new dedicated Ro-Ro service between Khalifa Port and Shuwayh Port The service, launched directly after the launch, is part of AD Ports Group’s efforts to drive excellence, leadership in maritime and logistics services, strengthen commercial links and facilitate trade in the region through Khalifa Port, the statement said. – Tradearabia News Service
