ADGM and Abu Dhabi Resident Office join forces to encourage more investment

Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and Abu Dhabi Resident Office (Adro) have signed a preliminary agreement aimed at encouraging more investment and retaining talent in the UAE capital.

ADGM said in a statement on Monday that the partnership means ADGM’s digital services can be accessed through its AccessADGM platform and can be used for visa-related transactions, including the nomination of the Abu Dhabi Golden Visa.

The Golden Visa offers its holders a wide range of benefits to encourage investment in the capital.

ADGM will also provide Adro with access to global companies, which in turn will provide golden visa holders with exclusive benefits, especially investors and entrepreneurs, it said.

“This strategic partnership gives the office access to a large number of global companies and their diverse resident community in the emirate,” said Hareb Al Mheiri, executive director of Adro, a division of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.

The move “is in line with our commitment to attracting the best talent from around the world and ensuring their long-term retention in the emirate,” he said.

golden visa Holders in Abu Dhabi are entitled to exclusive business benefits including discounts and offers on cars, property, healthcare, hotels, health insurance and banking services.

Adro has teamed up Offering incentives with companies across a range of industries, it aims to help accelerate the integration of Golden Visa holders into Abu Dhabi’s business community and further stimulate investment in the emirate’s economic development.

ADGM and Adro will collaborate on joint marketing campaigns through digital and direct channels, the statement said.

ADGM will also offer exclusive services and benefits to Abu Dhabi Golden Visa holders through Adro’s loyalty program. The two entities will work towards launching more initiatives to facilitate the ease of doing business in the emirate.

“We will ensure that the ADGM community is provided with the best smart services and various forms of support to advance their affairs and improve their quality of life and well-being in the emirate,” Mr Al Mheiri said.

ADGM is home to more than 4,200 global companies, small and medium-sized companies, start-ups and major financial institutions.

Last week, it was announced that ADGM was launched in Abu Dhabi Blockchain and Virtual Asset Strategy This is in line with the emirate’s overall economic strategy.

Adro was established to meet the needs of the multi-national community in Abu Dhabi. It simplifies the process for residents, giving them direct access to smart services, information, guides and a network of partners.
