Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a leading financial institution, announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Visa, a global leader in digital payments. The agreement aims to further develop digital payments in the UAE, providing ADIB cardholders with innovative customer-centric solutions.
As part of the partnership agreement, ADIB will begin aligning all of its covered card and debit card product portfolio with the Visa network, and Visa has acquired exclusive rights to ADIB’s entire card portfolio, including Visa Infinite Privilege, Visa Infinite and Visa Signature and other high-end products.
For nearly 20 years, ADIB and Visa have worked together to provide coverage and debit cards to consumers and businesses of all sizes. ADIB is one of the first banks to introduce the UAE’s first biometric authentication solution for e-commerce transactions with Visa. The agreement aims to develop digital payments in the UAE, offering innovative experiences and products that bring value to the bank’s diverse customer base.

The new partnership will see the two entities continue to work together to drive growth in digital payments through data-led solutions, use innovative platforms to deliver differentiated products in the marketplace, and deepen customer engagement with experiential offerings through Visa’s sponsored assets , and improve operational efficiency and reduce costs through Visa’s risk and data solutions.
