Adnoc Gas signs 3-year LNG supply deal with TotalEnergies

World-class integrated natural gas processor Adnoc Gas said it had signed a three-year export supply agreement for liquefied natural gas (LNG) with a subsidiary of French multinational energy company TotalEnergies.

The deal, signed through TotalEnergies’ utilities arm – TotalEnergies Gas and Power – underscores Adnoc Gas’ position as the partner of choice for global LNG exports and cements TotalEnergies as Adnoc Gas’ key strategic partner in the LNG market, representing another important milestone.

Under the terms of the agreement, Adnoc Gas will supply TotalEnergies LNG, which will be shipped to various export markets around the world. The agreement demonstrates Adnoc Gas’ ability to meet growing global demand for liquefied natural gas, a key fuel for the energy transition.

Regarding the strategic transaction, Ahmed Alebri, Chief Executive Officer of Adnoc Gas, said: “Our new LNG supply agreement with TotalEnergies represents another important milestone in our strategy to expand our global reach and reinforces our position as the LNG export of choice for a leading global energy company. partner status.”

“This agreement reflects our commitment to meeting customer needs by providing security of supply, price competitiveness and flexibility. Thomas Maurisse, Senior Vice President (LNG), said TotalEnergies had a long-standing presence in the UAE, having operated in the country for more than 80 years.

“We are delighted to have signed this three-year contract with our long-term strategic partner. These additional volumes will strengthen our global LNG portfolio, our ability to supply the growing Asian market, and our ability to accompany our customers on their energy journeys. transformational ambitions,” he noted.
