Abu Dhabi Development Holdings (ADQ) announces partnership with National Basketball Association (NBA). The agreement was specifically developed to engage fans and youth basketball players in Abu Dhabi.
The arrangement makes ADQ the host partner of the 2023 NBA Abu Dhabi Games, which will feature dallas mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves Two pre-season matches at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island from 5-7 October 2023.
As part of the league’s ongoing partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), ADQ will host and assist the league’s grassroots basketball activities in the UAE.
ADQ will facilitate a series of NBA fan engagement, youth development and social impact activities, such as Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi League, NBA FIT Clinic, NBA Cares campaign and NBA Youth Basketball Development Camp, as part of the partnership.
