Abu Dhabi University has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Residents Office (ADRO) under the Department of Economic Development to offer 100 scholarships for outstanding international students.
Students will also have access to the Abu Dhabi Golden Visa, among other exclusive educational benefits.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Hareb Al Mheiri, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Residents Office, and Professor Waqar Ahmad, President of Abu Dhabi University, in the presence of representatives of both parties, as well as University staff and administrators.
Tuition Waiver
The strategic MoU aims to facilitate the admission of international students on scholarships at the University and provide outstanding students who meet the eligibility criteria the opportunity to apply for the Abu Dhabi Golden Visa. This is in addition to offering tuition fee relief for students in the high school graduate category holding Abu Dhabi Golden Visas, and priority academic seats for high-performing students holding Abu Dhabi Golden Visas, all of which meet the same requirements as Abu Dhabi than the University’s prescribed and approved figures.
Under the MoU, high school graduates with a grade point average of 95% and above may be eligible for university scholarships of up to 50%, depending on the chosen major, with preference given to students on Abu Dhabi Golden Visas.
