Afghanistan: Taliban says it is working to reopen girls’ high school-News

There are only male teachers, and students are ordered to return to middle school on weekends.

The Taliban government in Afghanistan is working to reopen high school education for girls. Although a Taliban spokesperson did not give a time frame for action on Tuesday, they were recently excluded from returning to school for boys and young girls.

The Taliban said they have changed since their reign from 1996 to 2001, when they prohibited women from leaving their homes without male relatives and closed girls’ schools, but they said last week that they would open a school for high school boys Time aroused suspicion but it was not a girl.

“As far as the school (female students) is concerned, the Ministry of Education is working hard to provide the basis for the education of high school girls as soon as possible. Mujahid said at the briefing that “work is in progress” regarding women’s work disabilities, but did not provide details.

“We are working to further strengthen the cabinet, and God will, women will be appointed to certain positions in the necessary departments, and one day we will announce (their names) here,” he said.
